What terms do we use in the Privacy and cookie policy?
RODO (GDPR) – The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, abbreviated GDPR) is a European Union regulation on information privacy in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).

User (also referred to as the Customer) – an individual over 18 years of age to whom, following the Regulations, Privacy Policy or the law, services may be provided or with whom a service agreement may be concluded.
Device – an electronic device through which the User accesses the Website.

What personal data do we process, for what purpose and on what basis?
In order to improve the quality of the services we provide, we process personal data about your activity on www.productdisc.com, such as pages and subpages visited, the amount of time spent on them, session information and session activity, your IP address, location, device ID, and browser and operating system data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest to facilitate the use of electronically provided services and to improve the functionality of these services.
If you use the newsletter or contact form, we additionally process the personal information you provide in the form to send you marketing or commercial information. The scope of information include: name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, and information provided in the message sent together with the form. The legal basis is the necessity for the performance of the service contract.
If you participate in a satisfaction survey, we process your personal data including: your email address and your answers to the questions prepared by us, included in the surveys and forms used for satisfaction surveys. The legal basis is our legitimate interest to improve the functionality of the services provided electronically and to assess your satisfaction with the services we provide.
How long do we keep your personal data?
When the basis for our processing of your personal data is our legitimate interest, such as sending commercial information, developing or providing certain services, conducting statistics, we will process your personal data until we consider your objection to the processing of your data for these purposes to be effective.
We store personal data contained in cookies for a period of time corresponding to the life cycle of the cookies stored on their devices. Details of how we use cookies can be found in the following paragraphs.
Who do we share your personal data with?
We share your personal data if we are requested to do so by authorized state authorities, in particular: organizational units of the prosecutor’s office, the Police, the President of the Office of Personal Data Protection, the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection or the President of the Office of Electronic Communications.
We transfer your personal data to the following subcontractors with whom we perform services: 12.27 Piotr Adamiak, NIP: 5342219388 Your data is transferred to this entity only when you send an inquiry requiring a response, quote or participation of a UX research specialist.
We pass your personal data to the service providers we use who provide the following services for us: cloud hosting, email messaging, online marketing and satisfaction survey systems, website traffic analysis systems. We also use suppliers who do not act solely on our instructions and will determine for themselves the purposes and uses of your personal information. Our suppliers are primarily based in Poland and other countries in the European Economic Area (EEA), such as Ireland. Some of our suppliers are based outside the EEA.
What rights do you have regarding the management of your personal data?
You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given when using the Website. Withdrawal of consent has effect from the moment of withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing we lawfully performed prior to its withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent may prevent you from continuing to use services or functionalities that we can lawfully provide only with consent.
You have the right to object to using your data if we process your data based on our legitimate interest, such as in connection with a satisfaction survey. If your objection proves to be valid and we have no other legal basis for processing your personal data, we will delete your data against the use of which you have objected.
You have the right to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”). This means you have the right to request the deletion of all or some of your personal data. Despite your deletion request, we may retain certain personal data to the extent necessary for the purposes of establishing, asserting or defending claims.
You have the right to restrict data processing. If you make such a request, we will prevent you from using certain functionalities or services, which will involve the processing of the data covered by the request, until the request is processed. We will also not send you any communications, including marketing communications.
You have the right to access your data. You can get information from us regarding whether we process your personal data, and if this is the case, you have the right to access your personal data, get information about the purposes of processing, the planned period of storage of your data.
You have the right to correct and complete the personal data you have provided.
How can you make a comment, inquiry or request regarding the processing of your personal data?
You can report to us a complaint, inquiry or request regarding the processing of your personal data and the exercise of your rights. To do so, contact us via the contact form or by email at contact@productdisc.com.
If you make a request to us regarding your personal data, we will either comply with the request or refuse to comply immediately, but no later than one month after receiving it. For technical reasons, we always need 48 hours to update your selected system settings. Therefore, you may receive an email from us during this time, which you have opted out of receiving.
How do we use cookies?
Using cookies, we or our partners may collect the following information about you:
- data about your device (including device ID, MAC address, IP address, operating system, device settings, in particular the language set, screen resolution, type of web browser),
- data about your visits to our Website (including, but not limited to, the time and length of your visit, date, sub-pages visited on our services, search data),
- URL address of the page previously visited by the user – in case the access to the Website was through a link.
We use two types of cookies:
- session cookies: they are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until the session of a given browser ends. The stored information is then permanently deleted from the Device’s memory,
- persistent cookies: they are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until they are deleted. Ending the session of a given browser or switching off the Device does not cause them to be deleted from the User’s Device (they are stored in the User’s final device for the time specified in the parameters of cookies or until the User deletes them).
